Intercepted Field Questions
Six questions the manual keeps coming back to, each answered with the actual mechanic rather than the general advice. If an answer here contradicts something you read elsewhere, this page is the one written against the game's own systems.
Where Each Answer Comes From
CROSS-REFERENCETwo of the answers above are load-bearing for the rest of the manual, and it is worth being explicit about which ones so you know where to push back if the game changes.
- The acoustic multiplier is the foundation. Everything in Section 02 depends on the 2.5x / 4.0x figures past the 60% density threshold. If a patch changes that threshold, the fog calculator, the noise-radius table and half the base-siting advice all move together.
- Ammunition being uncraftable-from-purchase is the foundation of Section 03. The moment commercial rounds exist in the world, the lead chain collapses and the whole economy section stops mattering. As of the manual's last revision, they do not.
The remaining answers are stable and unlikely to move: hosting ports, day-one build order, memory behaviour and meat spoilage are all structural rather than balance-tuned.
