THE DEAD WE KNEW
Boreal Field Manual

Field Manual  //  Appendix C

Terms of Use

Plain terms for an unofficial fan reference. If you are looking for the game's own terms, they live on the Steam store page.

What this site is

This is an unofficial, non-commercial reference written by players for players. It is not produced, endorsed, sponsored or approved by the developers or publishers of THE DEAD WE KNEW: Open World Survival.

Game content and trademarks

All game names, trademarks, logos, screenshots, capsule artwork and trailer stills remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification, commentary and instructional purposes. Screenshots are served as local files and are not modified in any way that misrepresents the game.

Accuracy

The manual is written against the game's systems as observed at the time of revision. Balance patches change numbers, and a value that was correct last month may not be correct today. Mechanics described here — mist density thresholds, acoustic multipliers, press recipe quantities, memory behaviour — are subject to change by the developer without notice. Verify anything load-bearing in-game before relying on it.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is a reference, not a guarantee. Decisions you make in-game based on what you read here are your own.

Calculators

The noise-radius and ammunition batch calculators are models. They apply the constants documented on their pages and produce a modelled output. They are intended to illustrate relationships between values, not to predict exact in-game results.

Outbound links

Links to Steam and other external destinations are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and policies, and this site takes no responsibility for their content.

Reuse

The written text of this manual may be quoted with attribution and a link back to the relevant page. Bulk reproduction or rehosting of the full manual is not permitted. Game imagery may not be reused under this site's permission — that requires the rights holder's consent.

Contact and corrections

Corrections are welcome. If a mechanic is described incorrectly, the fix is to correct the page rather than to defend the original wording.
